Heavily preggo & moving to Dubai - need advice please!
Hi all,
Just looking for a bit of advice/info really before I start getting in a total flap!
We're arriving in Dubai from Oman early next week for husbands new job. When we get there I'll be 37 weeks pregnant - Our insurance which will cover us at AH and I've already spoken to them about giving birth there and it doesn't seem to be an issue however, I've been trying to find out some info online about giving birth on a tourist visa!
Both our visa's will take a few weeks to process after we arrive it seems and I'm worried about what happens if they're not ready by the time we need to register the baby. Also, if the baby is late and my tourist visa has expired by the time I go to give birth what do I do then? I've come across some posts that say as long as one parent has residency visa it's fine, but what if neither of them are ready yet?!
Can anyone shed some light or has this happened to anyone else here? Any or all insight given would be much appreciated x
