How safe is the water (sea, pool and tap?)

I have just moved to Dubai and my one year old is loving all the swimming in the sea and pool, however I am worried that he is accidentally swallowing the water. (He also trys to drink the bath water!) How worried should I be and should I maybe limit the amount of swimming we do in a week to be on the safe side?
