Has anyone had this gyno for their prenatal checks and delivery? Having seen her a few times at what felt like rushed appointments I was wondering if anyone recommends her? She has a lot of experience which gives me comfort. Thanks.

She was my doctor for DD2 and I found her to be ok. It was a very straightforward delivery and she arrived only just before the baby popped out and all was fine. I didn't ever think she was 'great' but thought she was ok. However since then I went her for a smear test and some contraceptive advice and thought she was pretty poor. I would never have received the results of the smear test if I hadn't chased it up. I will not be going back again.

I went to her once, 3 weeks ago today & I'm still waiting for the ultrasound she said she would request 'urgently' for me. Found her unsympathetic, uncaring, and i felt she didn't listen to me as I had to keep repeating things. I also went to her as she was local but I've gone back to my old gynae at the city.

I've now seen Dr Amal around 3 times. I haven't found her friendly/caring/interested in my pregnancy to be very honest with you. There is no reason for me to choose her as the one who I really want to deliver my baby as I have just felt like a statistic at my appointments. The only reason I go to her so far is as she's v local to where I live. Thanks for your feedback ladies.

Dr Badi may not be a sweet talker but in my opinion, she is very professional, caring and honest with her patients. Her self-confidence and clinical experience, combining Ob. & Gyn. skills with advanced ultrasound diagnostic techniques, puts her high on the list of recommended Gynecologists in Dubai.

I would never ever recommend her as I really had a bad experience with her, I had a missed miscarriage with her and she has been thinking that was molar or ectopic pregnancy a really confused doctor, imagine you are lying to hear your baby heart beat with all the excitement and suddenly your doctor shocks you by straight saying sorry it's not a normal pregnancy and you are going to miscarry this baby, no blood tests no follow up.how can she come to conclusion like this.please stay away from her.

Thanks ladies for your experiences, I'm feeling the exact same way which is why I wanted your feedback. When I have told her about my pregnancy problems/symptoms I feel they have been brushed aside and been told 'its normal' which it may well be but it's a good indicator of how caring/concerned a Dr is and there's no time to build a rapport when the Dr doesn't seem interested in her patient. My search shall go on and I am researching your suggestions. Thank you x

I have seen Dr. Badi before and I totally agree with CandiceH about her rushing and being cold. Anyway I ended up seeing Dr. Rosalie Sant for most of my pregnancy. She was extremely professional and also took her time during my appointments. I was very happy with her and will definitely be seeing her again for my next pregnancy!

I had a terrible time with her. I had an ectopic and such required many follow up visits, everyone she forgot who I was and was confused with my medical history. She was cold and unfriendly and i would not recommend her at all. I am now 23 weeks pregnant and am going to Dr Grace at Dubai mediclinic. Much happier being treated like a person. Good luck with your choice :)

Thank you for your very reassuring reply! I was worried as my friends say one should have a good rapport with your dr as they stay with you throughout the delivery. I have yet to have that with this dr maybe with time that will change as I'm 17 weeks at the mo. It is very confusing here having to choose a gyno as in the uk you just get who you are given on the day! Anyway, thank you again you've been really helpful manp x

I went to Dr. Badi during my pregnancy and I can see what you mean with the rush (at that time she was at HealthBay Polyclinic). But if you have questions ask a much as you want and she will take her time to answer and explain until you are happy. She has excellent experience as you mentioned and can for example explain very well in detail when you are doing your most important scannings. I cannot thank her enough for how she was helping and encouraging me in a wonderful way during my delivery. It was critical at one point of time but with her guidance all went well! She told me she is doing embroidery not stitching as I had to have episodomy, this was also confirmed by a midwife and my gyno during post delivery check ups. The day we decide to have baby no. 2 I will happily go to Dr. Badi again who I can warmly recommend as a very professional doctor. Best of luck with your pregnancy!
