Hiya. Just wondered if any of you know of a walk-in ultrasound clinic? I don't have a referral and I don't need a consultation, I just want an ultrasound.

I recently went to Aster Medical Clinic in Bur Dubai. Didn't need a referral. Paid cash. Brilliant scan. Lovely doctor. Highly recommend. :)

I wanted to do a quick ultrasound 3 weeks ago and called Mediclinic Ibn Battuta and they saw me the same day. The ob-gyn there was an indian lady, very nice and caring, I was really impressed. I will have to check my phone for her name, I forgot (preggy brain) How much did they charge? Hey, I am sorry I am not sure how much because its covered by insurance. The Mediclinic network should be covered by a lot of insurances. Maybe 450aed? Just give them a call otherwise.

Hi Mrs Rayner, I wanted the same in Feb when my mum was here. From memory, FMC would do it without a referral, but were really expensive. You'd need to check though, as it changed each time I talked to them. I went to Allied Diagnostic, but had to get a referral. I ended up seeing my dr, getting a referral (which had written on it that I wanted it - no medical reason for the referral) and "customer to pay - not insurance". Hope this helps, Philly
