Feeding Concern- Working Mum
Hello Mums..
I'm really worried about my 3 months old who stopped taking bottlefeed by herself when she was around 1 n half months. She used to take bottle before and I was happy as I'm a working Mom who's on a long leave until the end of next month, I thought that she'll do fine after I resume my job too. She's currently (exclusively) breastfed, doesn't take spoonfeed either. I tried with pumped breastmilk as well, she refused to take, then tried changing teats, also tried to feed by spoon.. but no results :( I lost my sleep thinking of this, really dont know how I'm gonna leave this baby to a day care centre.
Also my family is advising me to start introducing solids/ cereals to her as they think that I wont be having time to train her with solids when she completes 6 months.. esp elders who claim to have successfully raised their kids by feeding with solids from 2 or 3 months on... I'm concerned as I was told from the hospital that the baby should be exclusively on breastfeed until 6 months, I dont even give her plain water eventhough people advise me to do so.
So friends.. Please suggest what to do.. Have anyone of you gone thru the similar situation..? Should I start with cereals now.. (I'm double minded now)..? If so please suggest me good brands..
would love to hear from you...
