Hi I am also moving to Dubai in the summer but unlike brei03 we are a maturish couple, kids no longer living at home and my husband will be working in Internet City. I hope to find work. I am also interested in Marina/JBR mostly because we like to run and walk and it looks great for that.

We are looking for a reasonably priced 2 bedroom with good size balcony plus communal gym and pool. I would really appreciate any recommendations as there just seem to be so many.

Marina traffic is a nightmare I have heard. If you like walking,Jumeirah 3 or Safa 2 would be a good place. The walkway there is fantastic and I go every day. There are some 3 bed smaller villas which are popular very near the sunset mall area... Have a look..
