Hi. A lot depends when you want to go and whether you want the seaside.Between now and September the east coast has the better weather . Highly recommend Jungle Beach Resort <www.ugaescapes.com/jungle beach> not far from Trincomalee. The journey from Colombo is a bit of a pain but well worth it. If later than September the monsoon is clearing the west coast and there's any number of good resorts ( search around Galle). Have a great time!
