I have been looking around myself for a different type of pre-existing condition.. I found two companies that may fit your needs, depending on where you are traveling to:
--Columbus Direct offers coverage in some countries.
--ihi Bupa (now Bupa Global) insure residents of any country for travel to virtually any country.
I have found service at Bupa Global to be quick, clear, and responsive. They have a service center so you can speak with someone directly, before you buy a policy.

Dear all
I'm having problems finding ex-pat travel insurance which includes pre-existing medical conditions. My husband has a heart condition which is controlled on medication. His cardiologist has discharged him as he is stable, but I am having a lot of trouble finding travel insurance which will cover this.
Can anyone recommend anywhere to try?
