Hi. We're moving to Dubai during the month of August and are looking for a British school for our sons, aged 5 and 9 (years 1 and 5) close to Media City (work is at Media/Internet city). They have been attending school in a Catholic primary school in the UK and are used to a values based system, a small and relatively international setting and a good level of interpersonal, nurturing type of relationships.
Can anyone recommend a good school in that area? Thanks!

A lot of the well establised schools such as Welllington Intl will be full. You will most likely have to send them to the newer schools, like Dubai British School in Jumeirah Park. This is a really useful map to find schools close to your area: [url=http://whichschooladvisor.com/dubai-interactive-map-uae-school-map/'>http://whichschooladvisor.com/dubai-interactive-map-uae-school-map/[/url'> That website is also very useful for school reports and reviews. I suggest you narrow down some schools that appeal to you, check their review on Which School Advisor and Expatwoman posts, and then call and check if they have spaces. Good luck!

The closest schools to Media City would probably be Regent School in the Greens or Wellington International on Sheikh Zayed Rd (there are a lot of Wellington Schools!) Also Emirates International and Dubai British School in the Meadows.
