Hi ladies,
A couple of my really good friends are leaving Dubai by the end of this year. We were chatting about all the things we love doing here and that they will miss! We also discussed that there are so many lovely places with different things to do that we find out about all the time!
So my question is:
What are your top 5 must do's in Dubai before leaving?

Early evening drinks and snacks at The Observatory (Marriott Harbour at the marina) to watch those crazy people who seem to want to throw themselves out of perfectly safe aircraft with nothing but a bit of silk to stop them crashing to the ground/sea, and to enjoy the sunset and watch the lights come on on the Palm and around the area. A picnic out at Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club watching a game of polo - smoked salmon, champagne/prosecco and blinis with (cheat's) caviar - and all those so skilful horsemen (Jilly Cooper eat your heart out!) ... what's not to like ? Ride the Metro from one end to the other for a different view of the City - you could stop off at the Financial Centre station, cross the road and walk to Four Points by Sheraton and have "refreshments" at their Sky Bar with fantastic views out to the Gulf and all points inland, too

I think I would do one of the big brunches, mainly because I haven't been to many while here, the Al Qasr or Traituer sounds lovely. Walk at kite beach by sunset. Meal to see the dancing fountains. A desert activity. Dinner in a beach restaurant with a big stash of tissues.

- Rent an Abra (wodden boat) and cruise along the creek and combine it with lunch or dinner at the Bastakia district - Overnight stay in the desert - Drive to Al Hatta and/ or Mussandam in Oman - Spa day @ Zabel Saray Spa at the Palm - BBQ @ Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah I hope that the above will inspire you, they are my personal favourites. :-)
