Playing with their imagination.
We all know that our children grow up so fast and whilst they are young it is wonderful to play with their imagination in the most lovely way.
I thought I would share with you what I did one day after our daughters lost a tooth. Luckily they had a big age gap so were able to enjoy with both of them.
After leaving the coin from the tooth fairy a few times I decided to do something different.
I got a matchstick, obviously a dead one, which I cut down in size a little, then I got a silver marker pen and coloured it all over.
I then got 2 small hard stars, similar to the ones that are like small stickers but harder.
I glued them to top of the stick, one on each side.
Then I added glue and sprinkled on fine glitter / fairy dust to the stars. Making it all sparkly.
When it was fully dried I kept it handy then when the tooth fairy was due I left a coin but also the 'wand'.
The delight on the little faces when they thought that the tooth fairy had dropped her wand was priceless.
Suppose you could also use a Barbie type tiny shoe and glue sparkles on it and pretend she has lost her shoe.
Just a random thing I thought Id share.
I am sure many of you can come up with better ideas though. xxx
