This latest addition to the list of tourist attractions in Dubai has plenty to offer visitors.
The highly anticipated and eagerly awaited animal sanctuary is now open to the public, following from its soft opening in December 2017.
The new Dubai Safari Park offers an immersive experience for families and residents who wish to discover more about the 2,500 animals – and over 250 species - that are newly residing in Dubai’s latest tourist attraction.
Things to do at Dubai Safari
Guests are able to discover four villages: African, Arabian, Asian¸ and an Open Safari village, but the Asian Village isn’t yet open.
The new Dubai Safari is also home to the world’s first drive-thru crocodile exhibit, the UAE’s largest aviary exhibit, and the UAE’s only drive-thru hippo and tiger exhibits.
For a full safari adventure, both the Arabian Village and the Open Safari Village can be experienced via bus – with the latter offering the chance to travel through baboon canyon, home to over 70 baboons living as one large troop!
Visitors are able to explore the African and Asian Village enclosures, which are home to chimpanzees, lions, lemurs and flamingos. The latter is also home to Asia’s only great ape, the orangutan as well as animals like the Komodo dragon and the moon bear.
There’s also a wadi area for relaxation, a theatre, a safari theatre a kids farm and a whole host of special experiences.
And that's not all... It's the first zoo in the UAE to offer a zoo-keeping course!

How much are tickets to enter Dubai Safari?
Tickets for Dubai Safari cost AED 50 for adults, and AED 20 for children for access to all villages except the Safari Village. A combo ticket that includes the Safari Village is available at the cost of AED 85 per adult, and AED 30 per child.
Where is Dubai Safari Park located in Dubai?
The Dubai Safari is open every day of the year, including all public and religious holidays from 9am until 5pm during the soft opening. From January onwards, the park will be open from 9am until 9pm.
There are restaurants, cafes and dining facilities available onsite at Dubai Safari, as well as free Wi-Fi access for visitors to enjoy.
Dubai Safari Park is located in Al Warqa 5, opposite the Desert Palm Polo Club on Al Awir Road, and next to Academic City Road.
