Hi, any advice on this would really help me! My little brother just came to visit on holiday and contracted worms and now I am really worried I have as well. Is there any medication I can get from a pharmacy to help me??? I just got a job here so my working visa is in the process at the moment. I’m really worried about speaking to anyone about it incase I get deported for having worms :( thank you

Not sure exactly! I think maybe he could have had it before he came here as they were only on a short trip. Ok so it’s not reported or anything? I wasn’t sure if worms were seen as a parasite which was contagious or something. What a relief thank you

First of all how did he become infected? Through an animal? Worms can be really common, just go to the pharmacy and ask for an anti-worm medication - much the same as you'd give cats and dogs. No one is going to deport you for that, it happens.
