2018 is the Year of Zayed
And it has seen so many amazing works in honour of the founding father of the UAE, Sheikh Zayed.
Not to mention that 2018 seemed to be a great year for the UAE – residents and tourists cannot wait to see what the country brings on next.
While the Year of Zayed may be coming to an end, the UAE wanted to do something special for the late Sheikh Zayed…by using first aid boxes.

Assembling a famous portrait of the founding father, authorities in Dubai put together a grand assembly on Tuesday.
The Dubai Health Authority fittingly used first aid boxed to assemble the portrait and set a new Guinness World Record for the longest lines of first aid boxes.
Using the colours of the UAE flag, the portrait slowly came together as volunteers aligned box per box next to each other.
At the end, almost 4,000 first aid boxes were used to make the image of Sheikh Zayed.
From the top, the image looks like it was made by the standard canvas and paint, however, a closer zoom reveals the well-aligned boxes.
And for those who are questioning what happened to the boxes after the completion of this project, the boxes were distributed to the public in efforts to raise awareness about first aid training in Dubai.
