Where to certify a copy of my passport?

Hello,
I need to certify a copy of my passport to send it to a bank abroad.
According to them, it can be certified by a doctor, a lawyer, a solicitor, the police, a banker, and so on; requires a stamp, a signature, and a small comment of "I hereby certify...".
Any ideas?
