Latest Covid-19 rules in Dubai
The following preventive measures will be in place until at least the start of Ramadan this April.
- Brunches are suspended
- Shopping malls, hotels, beaches, and pools are limited to 70 per cent of their usual capacity
- Indoor seated venues such as cinemas are reduced to 50 per cent of their usual capacity
- Restaurants and cafes must close at 1 am
- Maximum 7 people sitting at one restaurant table
- Maximum 4 people sitting at one cafe table
- Any licensed venue classed as a "pub or bar", but not a restaurant, must be suspended
- Live music and entertainment suspended across Dubai
- Face masks remain mandatory in public and in private gatherings
- Physical distancing remains mandatory
- Private gatherings are limited to first-degree relatives, such as one's parents, siblings and children
- Private gatherings are limited to max 10 people
Suhoor and iftar tents during Ramadan will not be allowed.

Latest Covid-19 rules in Abu Dhabi
Those in the capital must adhere to the following precautionary measures:
- Private school students attending in-person classes must take a Covid-19 test every 2 weeks
- Maximum 4 people sitting at one table in public restaurants, including family members who live in the same home
- Shopping malls are limited to 40 per cent of their usual capacity
- Restaurants, cafes, hotels, public beaches, and parks are limited to 60 percent of their usual capacity
- Gyms, private beaches, and swimming pools are limited to 50 percent of their usual capacity
- Cinemas have been suspended
- Abu Dhabi public transport intake has been limited, with max. 45 percent capacity in taxis, and maximum 75 percent capacity in buses
- Up to 10 family members can gather together but they must wear face masks and remain at least two metres apart
- Parties and other social gatherings are not allowed
