Why is that the only two posters who have recommended Sheba Iranian Carpets have only one post each and that is about Rashid at Sheba Iranian Carpets?!
Thank you to all the posts recommending Rashad from Sheba Iranian Carpets at the Central Souk (Blue Souk) at Sharjah. I went there just last week and had a really positive experience looking through the wide-ranging carpets on offer. Rashad seems to have every type of carpet imaginable--heaps of Persian city rugs, lots of tribal rugs (old and new), Caucasians and not a few Afghan rugs. I must have spent at least 2 hours there, but Rashad and his staff were very friendly, helpful and patient! Rashad even drove to an off-site warehouse to collect carpets for me to see--and I ended up getting exactly what I was looking for. I was very impressed by the quality of everything I saw and thought the prices were very good too. There are lots of carpet shops in the Central Market, but am really glad I went to Rashad's shop--would definitely go there again next time I'm in Dubai.
Don't think they do house visits but in Al Barsha near Mall of the Emirates, there is this quaint little shop owned by an Iranian guy - has really good quality carpets and other Persian stuff. His shop is on the street behind Wrap & Roll.
Yes. For great quality carpets. Try Sheba Iranian Carpets. They have a shop in the Blue Souk Sharjah. Rashad is the owner and certainly knows his stuff. They do a home service, whereby you can ask them to take your favourtie colours or types of carpet direct to your villa. Best place to buy carpets in my opinion. You can find them on the internet www.shebairaniancarpets.com or call Rashad direct [b'>0506786168[/b'>
