Saudi Has Plans To Become The Next Big Tourist Destination

Saudi is hoping to become a destination that you really, really want to go to and they have big plans to make this happen!

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that they plan to develop the 180 km stretch of Red Sea coastline into a luxurious resort for tourists.

The 50 natural islands that are located along this stretch will also be included in the development and feature luxury hotels, residences and wellness centres.

What about the strict rules in Saudi you might ask? It appears they might not apply to this tourist haven!

The resort will be “governed by laws on par with international standards.”

Despite the Government's statement above, which was originally reported by The Telegraph, people are still uncertain how lenient the Kingdom will be. Whether alcohol and a less strict dress code will be allowed in the luxury resort still remains to be seen.
