Snow Expected in Northern Regions of Saudi Arabia

As many of the locals in Saudi have left the country to travel during the school holidays, the weather has taken a surprising turn and announced a true winter feeling. According to the General Authority of Meteorology and Environmental Protection it is going to snow in Saudi Arabia on Thursday and Friday.

The snow is expected to particularly affect the Northern Borders and Jawf regions. Along with the snow, the Tabuk region is expected to reach temperatures below zero degrees with a chance of rain.

The Tabuk region has already seen snow earlier this year as it turned the Al-Lawz Mountain into a wonderland overnight and melted away during the morning hours.

Residents are cautioned to drive carefully as dust storms are also expected in large areas of the Kingdom.

Here are some pictures of how the snow has previously turned the Kingdom into a winter wonderland while you excitedly await the snow.

Don't you just wish that you could wake up to fluffy white covered dunes every morning!

This community just needs fairy lights and it will be breathtaking!

We're sure even this guy must be getting cold in the snowy weather

What is all this cold white stuff under my feet?

What would snow be without a snow man? And in this case, a Saudi snow man!
