Saudi Arabia Boasts with Record-breaking Flower Carpet at Yanbu Flower and Garden Festival

The Yanbu Flower and Garden Festival has returned with a record-breaking display reclaiming Saudi Arabia’s place in the Guinness Book of Records from 2014. The 24-day flower festival which is held yearly in Yanbu on the Red Sea coast started earlier this month and features a majestic 10712.75 square meters flower carpet.

This is the largest flower festival in the Kingdom and was visited by 110,000 visitors in only the first three days after opening.
The festival which has been organised by theRoyal Commission of Landscaping and Irrigation Department in the city aimed to help make people more environmentally aware and teach them about the different plants and flowers, how to grow them and even provide supplies for their homes.
