She could also reach out to local newspapers or media for paid internships to get into a position, then move forward from there?

If she's interested she might be able to get a job in a nursery as an assistant. Some nurseries offer a work and study option so she could study and gain an early childhood cache qualification while working.

If she would be interested in doing Hair dressing training - Salon Educators/Gloss on Al Wasl do course and/or apprentice training I believe. Might be worth a call? Good luck

That's a difficult one, she could probably be able to get a job or internship, but it's really not easy and the salaries can be really low, but cost of living is probably cheaper than Australia, things like public transport and groceries definitely are. If she's determined to go, ask her to find Facebook groups for her nationality or expats in general. As she likes children she could offer baby sitting for example. Do your research, as you say you are on a tight budget and there are a lot of children her age that aren't on a tight budget over here, if she will be comfortable with that as well. With the makeup education, I'm sure there are options for her. The makeup stores are long hours and not well paid, but there are companies doing makeup for model agencies etc and they are better paid.

Hi everyone, I have been offered a job in Dubai starting in August this year. It would be just myself and my 18yr old daughter moving from the uk. Help! I have never been to Dubai although she has. Please advise on what she could do whilst I'll be working. She won't be at college unless I can transfer her uk funding. Do girls of her age get employment? She currently works part time in the kids dept of a private health club and she also has City and Guilds makeup artistry qualifications. Could you also advise a nice area to live that will have plenty for her to do, my budget will be fairly tight! Lots of questions sorry! Thanks in advance!
