I have not clicked on the link either.
Hairy is not shameful but chiulden and adults can be nasty and insult and hurt with comments.
that can be enough for needing to wax a very hairy child/adult to avoid that other type of verbal torture.
i havent clicked the link, but in response to subsequent posts, why is being hairy an issue in the first place? im not sure i understand why being hairy is such a shameful / embarrassing thing that you would wax a child. i mean, it frikken hurts! why not just be hairy?
The woman is a fruit loop and she's turned her daughter into one too. The father was in his 80's when he died so the mother must have been less than half his age.
This is nothing less than child abuse, waxing an 8 year old's privates ! The woman needs shooting. What happens when it becomes fashionable to be hairy down there again and she has none?
Is it April 1st?
Shocking and disturbing.
No amount of places at beauty patents will make up for this little girl knowing when she grows up her mother didn't think she was beautiful enough.
"she doesn't cry any more" Only one word - abuse.
I was curious how an 8 yo with botox looks so here is the original article with photos of the mother and daughter.
I think it is sad that a mother cannot see the natural beauty of her own child.

She really believe she is doing it for her daughter's good but it doesn't make it right!

It is not unusual for some arab children to be very hairy, I know of some children and could be a night mare for them if they had to change with other children present.
Then waxing is reasonable as children and adults can be mean.
What about say if the child (female) was really hairy? Like hairy back etc - would it still be wrong to start waxing from a young age? Surely this would be better in the long run as with waxing the hair growth is slowed down....
Just asking before anyone jumps on me.
This reminded me of a BBC documentary I saw a couple of years ago:

I think you can find the whole thing on You Tube, if it interests you:

I also found this article in The Times:

When an 8 year old says "I check every night for wrinkles, when I see some I want more injections." you know that no amount of slapping the mother is going to help now. Poor little girl, what warped view of what is 'beautiful' does she have? 8 year olds DON'T have wrinkles!!! And what kind of stupid is the mother for thinking that waxing an 8 year old 'down there' is going to stop hair growth permanently. If as an adult you chose to remove hair, fair enough, but an 8 year old cannot make that kind of judgement call. Besides, am fairly sure that hair removal in those regions does not make you into a star!
And any mother that says "I'd rather she be perfect and have a little frozen face. Some people say her eyebrows look a little pulled already but they look striking." needs shooting.
Oh I am so angry that if that mother came knocking on my door right now I would not be responsible for my actions.
The mother is obviously deranged, transferring all her flaws and failures onto her daughter - who is probably a beautiful 8 year old girl in her own right!
Well sorry to be blunt, but it's going to take a whole lot more than botox and waxing to make that kid into a model. The mother is basically committing child abuse - that's awful.

Someone should point out that no amount of 'virgin waxes' and Botox shots is going to make that child less ugly.
And also remind her that beauty queens -- that's the track she's on right now, as I understand it -- are not allowed to have b00b jobs. ;)
