Can I check is living in Exec Towers, a bit like living in JBR except you are in the middle of town as oppose to in the Marina? yes :) that's the idea though it doesn't look like it yet :) I guess it will be a good few months til the roads and landscaping is finished. If you can move in now, take advantage of the cheaper rents, in a year or so, this is going to be THE place to be. ;) I actually think it will be, it was one of the areas I was considering buying in for that exact reason :)

the lofts in downtown aren't (obviously!) IN jumeirah, but if you pick the right one, you look out over all of jumeirah and um suquim...i can see the world islands, burj al arab, trunk of the palm on a clear day...LOVE the view!

What's the big tall one down near you izzy? With the small Mall etc. Al Ghazal - i think Better homes let those apartments. Not sure there are any shops left in that mall ;) Agreed - great views! BH is the contact though and they are rubbish!

There is a shopping mall on Jumeirah Beach Road that has been standing empty since the crash, but I understand they have some lovely apartments facing the sea. Can't quite remember the agency that handles these units (seven....something). Good luck with your search! These are the Sunset apartments. i live in small apartment block just behind Jumeriah masjid / the one on beach road, if you want to drop me an email will give you the number of my block, a new block and Al Maskan if you like. My block is only one bed and has no facilities but not particularly expensive. The agent is an idiot, wait that's really unfair to idiots :D.
