I also vouch for Mezza House. Asie from the food, I like the staff, service and I've met the manager who was very nice as well!

Another vote for Mezza House on Emaar Boulevard. I've not tried many different Lebanese restaurants in Dubai just because I keep going back to Mezza House, the best Lebanese food I've tasted ever! They also do Syrian and, I think, Palestinian dishes, some you may have to order a day in advance.

I think what Moustique is talking about is MEZZAH HOUSE, they definitely have the best lebanese food.. If you decide to go there, I can recommend for you what to order :) Yes, that's the one. :) edited by Moustique on 14/07/2011

When we lived in that area, we used to go to the Lebanese on the main Boulevard, just past Al Manzil Hotel - cannot remember its name for the life of me. We used to love their food and shishas. Some nights they would have arabic/lebanese Karaoke (not our kind of thing but it pumped up the place with laughters and great atmosphere). On a couple of occasions we even saw impromptu dancing from the waiters. Great place, great food and great feeling. If you want afterwards, for the sake of a nice view, you can always cross over the road for a (hot) stroll by the Souk Al Bahar and the fountains. HTH

KARAM BEIRUT in Dubai Mall, it is opposite to the fountain, you can sit indoors and see the fountain. ZAHR Al LAYMOON in Dubai Mall, they have indoors but you can't see the fountain properly, if you want to watch the fountain, you will have to sit outside. MEZZAH HOUSE next to Al Manzil Hotel in downtown area, has the best yummy lebanese food (in my lebanese opinion :)) but they dont have any view (so you have to decide you are looking for best food or view). HOWEVER DO NOT GO ON A THURSDAY NIGHT, never, it will be too crowded and you will have a minimum per person where they dont allow you even to choose what you want to eat, they will just put the food plates on your table. So Mezzah House, anyday except Thursday and I think they have karaoke on Tuesday night (you will have to double check) so also dont go on their karaoke night. If you want a nice sitting, with AC and Shisha and also yummy food, you can try KHAN MURJAN at Wafi, they have a large selection of lebanese food. Lebanese restaurant with a dancer, you can go to AL MAWWAL in Bustan rotana hotel near the airport, but hey, be prepared for what you are going to see there :) edited by JS on 14/07/2011

Hi Wuffles, Not too bothered about the view just wanted the best food and a bit more luxury than maybe the likes of Wafi - any more suggestions? Thanks

There are quite a few more I could name but as she wants a view of the fountains or some such you are a bit more limited for choice-some with belly dancers etc-but I have yet to see an authentic Lebanese belly dancer here-mostly seem to be Russians-go figure!

Wafi Gourmet is nice-especiallly their home cooked selection which varies from night to night-the one at Dubai Mall overlooks the fountains but the food and service is better at either Festival City-or Wafi-personally I prefer Wafi City-and you have the sound and light show to watch there too.

My daughter is leaving Dubai on Saturday in order to return to the UK in order to go to university and has asked if we can go for Lebanese food on her last night in Dubai. Can someone please recommend somewhere, preferably with a nice location like Souk Madinat, The Fountains etc? TIA Jackie
