Hi does anyone have any suggestions where I could park my car close to the airport and catch a taxi to T2? Cant use the malls as they would tow away my car, and nervous about parking on a random residential street :). Would rather not pay the extortionate fees for parking at the actual airport, but dont have time to go home from work and catch taxi from there...

Maybe... are you allowed to leave your car there over a weekend though?

Would the Park & Ride at Rashidiya station Metro be of any help?

Leave your car at home and catch a taxi to work on the day concerned? Then you can catch a taxi to the airport from work, one back home after your trip and your car will already be at home... Or ask a friend to give you a lift in that day. As a one off I am sure a friend would help you out? LOL - had I thought a bit more, I may have caught a taxi from home, but since the flight day is today, well.... :) Oh, shame... maybe a lovely boss who will allow you to quickly take your car home and come back to work in a taxi...? Or a work colleague who could follow you home and bring you back...?

Can't you leave your car at work? There is free car parking by the Mazda Centre near Terminal 2. What airline are you flying that you are leaving from Terminal 2?

Outside parking at Al Bustan Center (the parking area behind the center/petrol station is free of charge) maybe?
