I use a fantastic PT called Katherine. She was recommended to me by a friend and is brilliant! We train at mine in the gym, on the beach and outside. I'd highly recommend her, she keeps me on my toes constantly. Her number is 050 1880394. Give her a ring - you won't be disappointed
The only thing I don't like about FF trainers is that they don't really talk to you about your diet so you have to be very self-motivated in that area.
A personal trainer is a fitness professional involved in exercise prescription and instruction. They motivate by setting goals and providing feedback and accountability to their clients and measure their client's strengths and weaknesses with fitness assessments and the improvements in physical fitness.
Personally I would never expect a PT to give nutrition or diet advice.
Hey,
Why don't you try Louis, he's meant to be Vgood and he specialises in body fat loss. My husband uses him and so far he's lost 12 kgs.
Contact him on 052 699 3955.
Cheers.

I've come in contact with a personal trainer finally, doing a trial session with her in two days. She's charging 250 per session but will be 150 if there is another partner. I'm in business bay and so is the trainer...any body want to train along?
I used Barry at Fitness First in Ibn Batutta and had great results. I trained with him before having kids and used him after both kids for a couple of months to help kickstart my fitness and had great results both times in terms of fitness levels, fat loss, core strength and overall looking and feeling better. I would use him weekly if it wasn't so expensive! He is really good when it comes to core exercises.
The only thing I don't like about FF trainers is that they don't really talk to you about your diet so you have to be very self-motivated in that area.
Hi,
My friend and I have both had great results with Karl @ Healthy 4 U.
I wanted to lose 20kgs and my friend 11, so far (its only been 6 weeks) I have lost 8 and my friend has lost 5.
Give Karl a call.
Hey there, could u please share what they do...and how much u are paying..I'm trying to go the personal trainer route and am very hesitant as I haven't done any gym exercise before....never been fat!
I do not mind paying exhorbitant amounts to these trainers either however, I much prefer to giving my exhibortany amount to the children starving in this world through my volunteering services directly - as in bringing the equipment with me instead of worrying how dreadful I might believe I look!!

You dont seem very well. Are you ok?
I second Lakshmi comments about trainers. I did a tour around our local fitness first and saw a lady badly arching her back, core not engaged and flaring her ribs while doing a dumbell clean and press The weight was obviously too heavy for her and her posture was terrible. The trainer did nothing to correct her, a recipe for a very badly injured back.
That said I would never go back to Core as I was messed around by their trainers (kept on cancelling) and the owner so much and I think they are even worse at paying their staff than FF were before they changed hands.
Independent trainers are probably a good idea or try other smaller gyms. Otherwise negotiate with Fitness First for a trial day with a trainer (before joining), and purposely make sure you use some bad form (i.e. arch your back, flare your ribs and maybe even lift your heels on a squat (be careful and don't do this with weight!), or lunge with your knee over your toe and let your body drop forward. See if they correct you, if they don't challenge them and ask them why they are not correcting you.
I need a PT because although I start exercises in good form by the end I am shattered and start getting sloppy. Being unable to see what I am doing having someone to correct me is required. This to me is the most important job of a PT, the second part of their job is to create exercise sets that will challenge but not injure you.
Good luck finding someone!
Can recommend Katherine - if you dont 'need' the hot guy effect lol
She comes to your house and sessions are great fun but with the results!
Give her a buzz zero five zero 1880394

sorry, just saw this now, it took about 2 months GirlAnachronism. and i stayed that size (even though i dropped out of classes eventually) until i got pregnant and had my baby. now i can safely say i am lot omre than two sizes bigger! lol.
honestly though, having lived all over the world and been to many many different trainers, gyms etc etc, i have never had results like that before or since. she really is that good.
good luck :-)
I have lost 7kg and a couple of dress sizes over 9 months with Elena from 02 Fitness, who has trained me 3 times a week for that length of time. She comes to my house at 7 am and we either work out in the gym, outside (when the weather is good) or occasionally in the pool. I pay 9500 AED for 40 sessions. Hope that gives you some idea on timescales / costs? I love my six pack!!
PS Although I could if I wanted to, I most definitely don't wear hotpants!!!
When DH told me that he need to buy an expensive bike as part of his triathlon training, I was not that happy. He took me to the bike shop and I met his trainer....oh la la....okay baby, if you could look 1/2 as hot as him....buy whatever!!!!
Hahh haah love it :)
My husband used to train with this guy from Monaco. He is into Ironman and Triathlon but I believe he also do other type of personal training. I think he charges AED250 per session. My husband lost about 12kg in about 8 months....no more beer belly. The trainer is hot....you will feel so motivated to train under his guidance :)
I like the sound of that too! Hot guy *wink wink*
Hi,
Would you please send me his number? I am interested in a PT who can help me with losing weight and getting ready for endurance sports like distance running. I had a lousy PT in DMC FitnessFirst and was wondering if you know any good ones preferably in FitnessFirst.
Thanks,
Hom
