Hi all,
Visit www.healthfactory.com, they deliver freshly cooked food on a daily basis. You will see a dietitian first, who analyses your body composition. According to that, she decides which meal programme you will go on and how many calories they will deliver every day in order to lose weight. Its a great concept and the food is excellent. It doesnt taste bland and you are even allowed to eat sweets such as cakes and cookies. They are all made in a healthy way, though and portion controlled. My friend lost around 5 kgs/month. I can highly recommend it....
I follow Low GI Diet - and after 1st week you will overcome your need in sugar. But every now and then I allow myself the treat of full fat sweet ice cream or chocolate cake.
Interesting fact - after sticking to LG diet even not so sweat berries feel like a treat.
Way to go guys! It is a nice lifestyle rather than diet.

Have you ever looked into the food combination diet? It actually isn't a diet, it is meant to make you eat in the correct combinations... you'd be surprised how much better you feel by not combining starches with proteins... and how much weight you can lose. Best of all, you can eat everything, well almost!
I agree with Fairytale - much better for your health, in my opinion, would be to follow a low GL diet. Why not buy a book with meal plans and recipes, eg Patrick Holford's Low GL Diet. If you eat a balanced diet and have balanced your blood sugars, then you should burn fat. Much easier than trying to work out your own plan :)
Years ago, when I used to be fanatic about my body I ate only protein and very little carbs for years (I used to model and be a professional athlete)... So it is possible and many people live like that and it really works. But... it can be quite tough, especially if you workout a lot. I would suggest low GI diet, it's a more healthy and allows some carbs, but allows you to lose weight effectively.
(I googled low GI - http://www.the-gi-diet.org/lowgifoods/ this explains the basics, you should also look into http://www.southbeachdiet.com/sbd/publicsite/south-beach-diet-recipes.aspx)
Good foods:
Fish
Chicken
Beef
Avocado
Salads & vegetables
Cottage cheese (and other cheeses)
Natural yogurt
Berries
Nuts
Be careful with fruit, some fruits have a lot of carbs and sugar.
When you get into a mindset, it is quite easy to keep on going with this diet! I did it for years and I am positive you can do it too :)!
Personally, I find it very hard to stick to high protein - low carbs diets but if you're looking for some recipes, www.atkins.com has some yummy ones and also have an option of weekly menus with breakfast, morning snack, lunch, evening snack and dinner options :)
I am on an exercise kick at the mo.eating healthily and doing bootcamp twice a week and running on treadmill twice a week for 7 k each time; Now the prob is I am losing a few inches havent weighed myself yet.BUT I cannot get rid of this mummy belly;I really want to get down by summer sounds shallow I know but would love to be toned before I go home for the summer;I was thinking of doing a protein diet to burn fat but I only eat white meat and fish so do u think I could last?I would be greatful for some advice on this or if anyone could send me on some recipes cos I am a lazy cow and making out diet plans is hopeless for me I just need something which says this for brekkie ,this for lunch etc...
