Does your maid walk your dog??

I took our dog for a walk this afternoon (behind the Arenco villas near Spinneys al Wasl Road) and in the first block, I came across one maid sitting against a wall, playing on her phone - 2 dogs on the lead. Next block, 5 maids, each with a dog, hidden in a side laneway gas bagging away. And finally, last block, 2 more maids doing the same. If you want your dog walked, seems you need to do it yourself, or occasionally follow your maid and make sure it's getting done!

So, our situation has changed and we don't have a maid anymore. I know for fact that she walked and picked up after our dog correctly. However, since the dynamic has changed with her no longer being with us, my dogs behaviour has changed dramatically, for the better! The dynamic is so much better! He ( our dog) now knows who is the boss, as we (the family) walk him every day. I've really reconnected with him. Walk you own dog! That's my top tip for them and you! :)

Seen this a lot. Maids take the dogs out but don't actually walk them, they just stand around messing with their phones or chatting to one another. They don't pick up after the dogs and don't know how to handle them in a situation. Also sadly, there have been quite a few instances of maids treating dogs badly, hitting and kicking them, which the owners are completely unaware of. If you have a dog, please look after it yourself.

It's the same in all communities, the owners must be aware... They don't even hide where I live.

Why would you have a dog if you didn't walk it yourself regularly?
