Does anyone know someone other than Homely Petz that can come to my apartment on the Palm early Thursday evening and Friday morning to feed and walk my small dog?

The Urban Tails prices are about three years out of date imho. Maybe people could afford silly prices pre-GFC, but it's a bit of a stretch now, no matter how lovely the facilities. Have to giggle about the plasma TVs though. Huh? :D

Yes Urban tails looks good, but my dog despises Kennels and they have already put their prices up, initially they were going to charge 90dhs for the cheapest kennel and now it is 115dhs per night. I only need one night but they are not open on Fridays so I would have to keep her in there for 2 nights. But I do know a friend who visited Urban tails and said it was excellent. All the kennels even have mini sofas/couches for the dogs to sleep on apparently. edited by melbell on 09/04/2011 edited by melbell on 09/04/2011

Urban Tails is a new pet resort near The Green Community, small dog rates are 115dhs per day, take alook at their website, the place looks lovely.

I'd second Woofotel. My friend sends her pampered pooches there and they love it.

Have you thought about booking your pet into a kennel for a short stay? My dogs stayed -- and stay whenever we're away -- at Woofotel in Al Quoz and I can't recommend them highly enough. Supervised play in a fab doggy daycare space, good-sized cubicles [not outdoor cages'> with human-waist-height glass brick walls, really lovely staff ... It would be -- for one night -- 90dhs well spent, I believe. :)

Thanks FC, I have just emailed them. Anyone used them before? Any other recommendations?
