Dreams about a man I once loved.....
I am using my friend brokenheart's account (with her permission) as I like to stay anonymous.
I am in my early 30s, happily married with 3 children for over a decade now. My husband and I are very much in love and have no marital problems.
When I was 17, I was deeply in love with someone. We were not in a relationship and my love was not reciprocated, we were just friends. But I died for him a million times a day, I really loved him very much. After we moved away from that city, we lost touch and I was not over him for the next 3-4 years. I haven't seen him in over 15 years but
I often dream of him. At least once every month or so. When I am awake he is really nothing to me, I don't even think about him. But in my dreams the feeling is so real. Its that intense feeling of yearning and aching to hug someone. And it feels like I have reached somewhere I always to be when in his embrace... I don't feel anything for him now. But I remember the dreams very well in the morning and they are beginning to disturb me. It just doesnt feel right. Sometimes in the morning I feel unfaithful to my husband, that's how real they feel.
Does anyone have any similar experiences? Can anyone make any sense out of this madness? Any words to talk about this appreciated.xx
