Perhaps a sign that things are getting tough in Dubai, I wasn't sure what to expect in my first Flea Market in Zabeel Park today..........however, I was pleasant surprised and literally on my feet all day from 8am - 2am and sold over 1,000 pieces of merchandise...a little tired now but I was pleased to see such a huge volume of people throughout the day (and obviously improved weather conditions helped). Well worth the 290dhs table fee and will definitely try and have a presence throughout the year with business being so brisk.

That's really great, Yes, 12,000 is a brilliant turnout. I'll pop along to the next one to have a look about. Thanks for taking the time to reply. I wish you luck with future events.

No - he event is covered by the license of the organiser so anyone can pitch up and sell their wares. I heard that there were around 12,000 visitors so footfall was far higher than I have seen at market events at places such as wadi, Times Square, marina / jbr. Perhaps because it is such a large event and only on once a month.

That's really good to hear, I have friends selling at markets and finding it tough, so, well done. Did they ask for your business licence or are you covered under theirs?
