Moms of kids in EY1& EY2 at Emirates International school.. I am a bit of a germophobe . Anyone noticed hygiene issues within their classes/paygrounds? I have been to their assessment and tour and they seem like a lovely school but in all honesty not too neat! And am worried.. I have to make a decision and am lost ?

I think you're being 'overly concerned' for no reason. As you say with 15 children in a class, it's hopeless to try and keep everything spotless all the time as children are just simply messy.
Maybe you are right.. thank you for your input .. kids will be kids

True to that , am all for playing in the mud.. but having water stations put in and look terriby dirty is not my idea of healthy play.. kids this age still have their hand in their mouth with and without reason lol... As well as teaching kids that you clean you after you eat which is what i teach my lo. But the classes i have seen were filled with food crumbs all over the place...this is what worries me most.. on the other hand having one kid in a room is onee thibg and having 15 is a whole other story and since he is my first ..i dunno what to expect hence my question.. thank you for your reply xx

Kids need germs to build up their immune systems. As a child we jumped in puddles, played in the mud and fell off rope swings and climbing frames. Unless they have an outbreak of legionnaires or typhoid then i wouldn't worry. They are going to be around kids 24/7 who have coughs, colds and all sorts of germs

I'd take this up with the school personally, not name them on a public forum - which is actually not allowed.
