Smilies, thank you for your response. He has an unlimited contract. Apparently there are loopholes (probably a fee to be paid) and he can get an NOC? The laws of the UAE remain puzzling. If he receives a ban, can he pay a fee to get the ban lifted?
Not anymore, ban if from the mol and not the employer anymore noc are no longer available for use in the mol so please don't fall for it !,,,

What labour contract does he have limited or unlimited ? Ifi it is limited he has to give 3 months notice and if the co wish to terminate they also need to provided 3 months notice or pay in lieu of notice.
In respect to the noc he will need to have completed 2 years in order not to receive a ban from the mol unless he is in a freezing or government
My DH has worked for this company since June 2010. He wants to leave as there were many things promised to him by the company, like medical insurance, and they have gone back on their word. It has cost him a lot of money for medical insurance alone. Also, one of the things in his contract was that he gives 3 months period of notice and the employer give one month. He questioned this but they would not change. He was desperate for work so had no option but to accept. He wants to leave now giving one months notice, are there any loopholes we should know about in terms of getting an NOC from his current employer and giving one months notice?
