Thats what concept 10 10 is all about right??? Are those who work out or run for an hour daily crazy?? Or is this a new way of losing weight and burning fat? But then.. just 20 minutes per week??????

Of course this concept is not for everyone. I have been doing it for the last 15 months when I was 6 months pregnant. I have never exercised my whole life, cant run/jog due to bad knees and ankles. I turned to Concept 10 10 for the pain free solution it offered my back. Am still doing it to prevent the back pain and tone my flabby bits. For the first few weeks it took a full week to lose the muscle soreness but thereafter it was down to a few days. Now I take only 1-2 days. The difference I experienced were - no back pain!! - no huffing and puffing going up the stairs - muscles toned up - easier to lose weight when I stick to a diet regime - more stamina and strength for physical activities The 20 min/week routine is really a big plus for a busy mother like me. Overall, I am happy with what I am doing and what I have achieved doing Concept 10 10.

This cropped up as I was deciding I really must start taking some exercise again. I wanted to go to Shape Express, as they are similar to Curves, which is the only exercise I have ever completed successfully and carried on with for a while, but apparently they are closing/have closed down. So I looked at this 10:10 thing and it's obviously not for me as I think Laksmi's points are very valid; the mere thought of the Shred thing that a lot of you do makes me want to take to my bed and rest - so, has anyone any ideas of some classes which might suit me here, or, more likely, a good, simple, aerobic exercise DVD, please?

Don't know about the concept mentioned here, but am following a guy who works out for 20 minutes at a time 3 times a week. He , and lots of others who joined the program, said that it was 20 minutes of pure **** but he's had results. He's moved on since but maybe the concept below is similar? http://www.248am.com/mark/kuwait/7-weeks-later/ Edited, didn't know h e l l was a bad word!! edited by tkoshy on 12/01/2011

It sounds too good to be true! Has anyone tried it?

From their website: There is no scientific evidence to suggest that people who are... engaged in a proper strength program, need additional aerobic exercise." Body builders are engaged in a proper strength program and many of them couldn't run a mile if their life depended on it. Are they strong? yes. Are they aerobically fit? no. I think 10:10 is a load of codswallop. I've done super slow training and it doesn't take me seven days to recover. Anybody can do it themselves - although obviously it's motivating to have a trainer to push and guide you.

Just 20 mins per week! - unless you was on some crazy diet also I don't see how you can loose any weight. Was going through their flier and it says 20 minutes of exercise is all the muscles of the body needs.. And that's enough to stay in shape
