We had an aupair in London, a young Spanish girl. We were told that it would be impossible to sponsor her when we came here. The visa rules are quite restrictive. It was a great experience, but I fear that it is a lot easier to organize if you are based in Europe, not UAE.

To get an aupair to work in Dubai is almost impossible. I use to work as an aupair nanny a couple of years ago in Saudi and Beirut. I t was a beautiful experience. However I was made to understand that certain nationalities are only allowed to work as nannies in Dubai. So it is going to be very hard to get an Au Pair of your choice. Unless you're lucky enough to get an African -Au Pair nanny whose nationality is one of the listed nationalities allowed to work as nanny in Dubai. Good luck with your search and check out http://nanny-agency.com/ That was where I was found! Now I work as an Administrator in Dubai.....Hope you find what you're looking for. You misunderstood the concept! Au Pair is WAY different than nanny or maid!!! As you stated "certain nationalities" then you are referring to the maid job, au pair is something different than maid! As she is well educated lady or student and cares for the education of the children, she doesn't clean or cook.

Good morning everyone! We are considering getting an Aupair and to be honest I am not really sure about how to go about it. Do you know a good site you can recommend? How much do you pay and what responsibilities do they have? How much do you involve them in your family life and how would a regular schedule look like? I am looking for any advice at this point. Thank you so much for your help!
