I have confirmed an illegal dog breeder on dubizzle. My only questions is what happens to the dogs once we report someone? Will they be put down or will we have an option to rescue them and offer them for adoption to good families?

Yeah..when we were 'pet-searching', came across some dude in media city who wanted to cover the cost..u should look out for ad that says call for 'details'..:\: ETA-we never reported though.. should have!! very informative thread nath. <em>edited by AnnJo on 06/04/2011</em>

Thanks Nath for putting this on. Yes if reported DM will take action. Please lets all make an effort to call in, if they bombarded with reports, they cannot not take action. As for dubizzle, click the report this ad icon, and state yr reason, it is illegal to sell animals in the uae without a licence. Most of the ads there say the animals are for adoption, but when called they then tell u the price, or say just to cover the cost. Thats not adoption! a friend went thru something like 10 ads for 'adoption' only to be told the dog is for sale! These incidents can be reported too, to dubizzle. they will pull the ads and i think if there are repeat posting and more reports of the same, they would block the user (?) I hope so considering they give stern warnings about posting double ads! Anyone know someone from dubizzle?

''friends of animals'' had few meeting with DM, proof, docs have been provided ! but they asked people to report it.. it s a long process but we keep hope. a lot of animals enter illegaly in UAE incl monkeys , and so far pitbulls for breeding .... for fighting.. !!! so please report, dont give up !!

There are many of them on dubizzle so can we report them, will the municipality really takes action? and what they will do? Dont know why I feel it is hopeless.. I hope, I wish something can be done to stop it.. dubizzle will pull the ad as soon as you report it. I have reported animals for sale to DM before and am not aware of any action taken. Not saying they didn't follow it up though.
