My DH was walking our dogs when a black lab started following him. He has followed us right home!!! No tags on him. If anyone is missing this fella pls call me on . Thanks!

Deleted no as dog has been found.

So glad to hear he's back home. I "lost" my dog a few months ago (cancer) after 14 years. I miss her terribly. I can't imagine not knowing where she was, it's hard enough knowing that she's gone for good. And she would have chased the cat and followed your husband home too! (she knew what side her bread was buttered on!!)

that's great news - have been wondering all afternoon, especially having had a dalmatian come visiting from our neighbours earlier - think he could smell the roast!!

Hi, Thanks everyone. The owners came this morning. Apparently he had just run off chasing a cat and then chased our dogs right home. Alls well. Adorable animal I must say. Missing him. Had half a mind to kidnap him (joke!!!!)

I saw a maid this morning walking a black lab (probably a year old), so if the owners are at work, and it was that dog, she may not raise the alarm until they are home (just a thought, if its not been reported already) - hopefully somebody will claim within 24 hours.

I so hope you find where he lives. I am itching to say I'd take him but know my DH would throttle me! If he were a she, I'd be in there for sure, elbows out! Good luck. If you need a temporary home, I would be pleased to help, but looks like you have some promising permanent ones already.

Dame - if no one comes to claim the dog, can you please let me know. Email is shazmah . hakim @ gmail.com (no spaces). I have a pipe dream that I can convince my husband to let us adopt a black lab.

I have already posted on JI forum and told the security. Surprisingly nobody has informed the security about a lost dog. He is safe in my DS room for now and I will take him to check for a microchip tomorrow. In the meantime, bumping this up in case any one has any info. He does seem to be housetrained and is very very mild. Quite active so I am guessing would need a lot of attention (like all labs) but is a sweetheart. I dont think he is even a year old.

Try to contact local vets and animal rescues i.e. K9 friends. If no luck contact me! I'd be interested if he's (a) housetrained and (b) knows his place amongst cats ( at least my cats would teach him)! Labs are lovely but they have destructive tails if your coffee table has knick knacks!

Can you put it on the JI ladies and the JI community site - might reach more local people that way. Hope you find the owners. The security guards will help too if you leave your contact numbers with them. I found a lovely dog there and the security were great in getting the owner to contact me.
