Ladies...I'd appreciate your recommendations on where to buy nice garden furniture that doesn't cost the earth. We live in Umm suquiem but I don't mind driving to other areas for a good deal!! I need table and six chairs, parasol and sofas. Thanks

I can second Ikea, we got some lovely furniture there last year and it's still looking good a year later!

Nothing will last long in this climate so it's really not worth spending a lot.

Also I would definitely go for the rattan style and definitely not wood. Ours needed oiling every few weeks and the wood has cracked. Far too much work. Also, for the table, make sure it has an easy wipeable top like glass as the sand in the air makes them very dirty. Most people recommend Dragonmart but I'd also have a look in Marina as they have some nice buts but more expensive.

I looked everywhere for a new set and finally bought one at ACE in Festival City. It was really reasonable and of better quality than the ones I saw at Dragonmart.

Friends have just bought some really lovely chairs, table and sofas for the garden from Ikea - they're really nice. Also a good place to check out is in Dragonmart.

For decent priced goods I would try Ace, the one in Festival city has lots to choose from.
