There is a new grocery market that just opened in Murjan. It's Daily Gourmet. The produce, seafood, bakery and meat looked very good, there is also a salad bar and a small coffee area. It does look like it's more pricey than al maya, but it's worth a visit.

How about "Deals". I haven't used them, it can be hit and miss, so I've been told.

Have to say I prefer Choithram's to Almaya. I have started to buy a lot more from there, also get most of my meat from them and am never disappointed with the quality. Very convenient having them two minutes walk away and it saves driving to the other supermarkets so often. You can telephone either store with your order and they will deliver. edited by amelia on 30/08/2011 edited by amelia on 30/08/2011

Don't know which sector of JBR you are in. There is a Choithram's in Amwaj and they deliver, but don't know to which other sectors. edited by amelia on 27/08/2011
