I have just pulled my youngest child from a smoke filled bedroom.
There was that 5 second gap between me grabbing him up and trying to wake him and him actually responding.
I feel slightly sick.
It was a fire in the A/C and the smoke is acrid with that electrical fire smell. I have quite a headache having been in ther clearing out the soft furnishings and opening the windows and extractor fans.
The guys are here now, checking it is safe, the kids will all sleep downstairs on the couches tonight and tomorrow I better get a new unit or the landlord will hear about it!!
My DS seems okay but I have no idea how long he was in it. Thank G it wasn't later when we were all asleep
