Stayed there last weekend. Pool is temperature controlled and it we had it to ourselves most of the morning. Beach has very dark sand which sticks to everything. Kids club is full of broken toys and dried out pens. DS played with the playstation for about 1/2 hour apart from that we didn't bother. They advertise a kids club schedule but it was never open unless you asked them to open it. The bouncy castle was up on the Friday but they did not bring out the popcorn, waffles etc for the children until we asked - the staff were too busy catering for company who were visiting for the day. Playground is fine for LOs but it could do with a good clean We had cockroaches in the bathroom however this may be normal for garden rooms. Second night was really noisy, lots of children running around until 4am! Doors slamming and parents shouting - although I guess this could happen in any hotel. My LOs managed to sleep through it but I was a grumpy mummy at 7am the next morning! Not sure we would go back, it just seemed a bit tired and for almost the same price (and Hilton Honours points) you can go to the Hilton RAK Resort

we stayed a while ago at the hilton fujairah - we booked for 4 nights but checked out after 1. Kids facilities were awful - the beach is not very nice - the best bit about the hotel was we got a lovely room and the staff were superb but it was not for us..... we drove down the coast and booked into the Le Meridien Al Aqah and we go there as often as we can - it's great for the kids - we get a babysitter from the hotel and always have one night on our own in one of their restaurants and end up sitting in the beach bar for after dinner drinks. It's fab - especially for your age group. Have heard good things about the other al Aqah hotels but we always return to Le Meridien. Entertainer book also has vouchers for their restaurants so that helps too!

Had breakfast there this morning :). It's a 45-minute drive from Al Aqah. There's a nice (small) kids playground, and a bouncy castle as mentioned. Beach is OK (rather small since Gonu). Although I quite like the Hilton and spend a lot of time there, I would definitely recommend the Meridien up the coast in Al Aqah for children's facilities. Their kids' club is superb, and has planned activities throughout the day. You can only leave 4yo+ unatttended there, so you would have to stay with your 2yo unless you arrange a babysitter to stay (extra charge). Have a great trip!

Stayed there in autumn and had a great stay. Hotel is inside Fujeirah City, but has own (small) private beach. Very nice staff. We had a deluxe room with sea view, room was rather small but newly furnished. You can also have a chalet type room in the garden. Quite far from Al Aqah, 30 km maybe? Don't remember kids facilities, they had one pool with kids pool. Personally, with kids, I would opt for Miramar Al Aqah or also Sandy Beach Hotel, has a nice beach, more suitable for kids. Friends with kids like also JAL hotel. edited by Kermi on 19/01/2011

Its quite far from the Al Aqah hotels, There was a bouncy castle and a pool. The hotel is small, older and rooms are small but its a nice atmosphere. Prefer the Al Aqah hotels for a holiday though.

Wondering if anyone has stayed at the Hilton Fujairah. Am planning a trip with 2 kids - 5 and 2. Do they have good kids facilities? Room reviews?? Also, how far away is it from the Al Aqah hotels? Was advised to go to the Miramar by a friend.
