A Humanitarian Gesture Needed - Please Read
Without going into too much detail, I have recently had a very bad run of luck. I was diagnosed with a serious illness and soon after, was unfairly dismissed by my employer, which meant that I will lose my medical coverage as soon as my visa is cancelled.
Due to the nature of my illness, I am concerned about my lack of medical cover for the future - not for my current treatment as that will be covered - but in case I may need medical cover in the future.
A very kind Broker advised that my only solution would be to get myself onto a group BUPA medical scheme with pre-existing conditions disregarded. After 3 years coverage, I would transfer the scheme to my own name as a private individual which would mean that I would be covered in the future if I needed any further treatment. I have researched this and this is indeed the case.
My question is this - would anyone out there be willing, as a humanitarian gesture, to add me to their group BUPA medical coverage? I would cover all costs of premium etc and would be of no extra cost to the company. I would simply be another addition to the group scheme. I would not even make any claims during this period; the company could retain the card. Please note this would be of no extra cost to the company!
Should anyone have it in their heart to assist me with this, I would be extremely grateful.
Thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
