My DH is great BUT the wet towel on the bed.. or better yet, when he wears the wet towel around the house and sits on everything leaving a damp print everywhere he goes, is my biggest erk. and then there is piling garbage on the counter when there is no trash bag, taking off his socks in the living room and leaving them on the floor, not changing the TP roll when its empty, shaving and leaving little hairs all over the bar on soap.. ect ect ect :P but really, he's pretty great.

....... I go to throw something in the trash, but just as it leaves my hand I realise some $%&* has emptied the rubbish bin but not put another bag in! ........ I get out of the shower only to find our helper has washed the towel that was hanging on the rack, but not replaced it - drip drip, slip! ....... I find kids food hidden in the playroom yes mummy, I ate my fruit....... ........ The toilet seat is left up - yeah yeah I know, but I really hate it!

Doesn't anyone, apart from us, use a teapot anymore ?? lol Me, me! Every day, several times. No teabags, only loose leaf. And the teapot doesn't sit on the counter or a table, it is placed back on a steaming kettle, until the flavour of the tea is propelry infused; god forbid the water temperature starts to cool down while this is happening!!! lol edited by Irooni on 13/03/2011

My Mom visits and she gets her breakfast tray ready for the morning the night before. Like it will take her so long to put a piece of kitchen paper, a small plate, a knife and her cup & saucer. LOL! I do that :D I can't go to bed unless the breakfast tray is ready with the cereal bowls, spoons, mugs etc. I even put the teabags in the mugs ready. :D :D (Saves a vital 3 minutes in the morning :D) yeh, but she wakes up at 10am and takes 3 hours to make her toast anyway.

I hate it when there are two sheets of loo paper left on the roll and the roll is not changed - and there is a basket of new rolls right next to the throne!

I am not the only one, my brother in law said that when she was in his house in Texas he just put it all away before going to bed. I tried doing that but she kept on putting it out. In the end she asked the maid why she cleared away her clean tray and the maid was like *duh...what?* anyway she copped the blame for it.

I just don't get the teabag in the sink/on the drainer thing. Can someone who does it please enlighten me? As I said below bh thinks it needs to drip into the sink before putting it in the bin-otherwise he risks it dripping en-route to the rubbish bin and giving ME work wiping the floors......He reasons it ultimately saves me work..... edited by wuffles on 13/03/2011

don't think hate is the right term at all cos I usually split my sides laughing, but If I'm out and about on a Friday I can guarantee that between 3 and 3:30 I'll get a call and this poor neglected little voice will say like clockwork "I'm hungry, what shall I do?" Soooooo want to reply - ring your PA and get a delivery sorted. OMG even my 11 year old can feed himself!

The OH leaves the milk out on the counter to go warm, no idea why he can't put it back in the fridge.

Leaving cupboard doors open, wet towels folded up and left on side of bath (not hung up) or always leaving the lovely ice cold water bottle on the kitchen counter to go warm! And yes washing is own dishes but leaving all the ones used tp make tea in the sink - grrr :)

I hate it when I've cleaned the house from top to toe and my DH comes in a picks up a tiny piece of fluff and looks at it so intently. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, that's what I get for marrying an inspector.

Mine virtuously washes his breakfast dishes -but doesn't touch any other dishes in the sink-and hopefully waits to be thanked-grrrrrrrr-also does the teabag in the sink thing-apparently it is to save ME work because if he puts it in the bin immediately it might drip on the floor en-route and I would have to wash the floor......................................

People put the used T bag in the sink when the bin is only a couple of extra feet away !!!! Aargh! My favorite pet peeve! DH puts all his trash in the sink. Mostly food-related items, but sometimes other stuff. He's just been spoiled rotten his whole life by someone always picking up after him, I guess....(and yes, I get that that includes me, guilty, so I should shut up, right?!).
