And this would be the point where I come on the forum and say that the villa we are in (at The Villa) is up for grabs at a steal since its only 170K in 2 cheques and available direct from landlord so a saving of 8,500K. Its the Granada, which is the next size up from the Cordoba, gorgeous house and youre welcome to come by and see it!!! Have a few people coming around this weekend though. More info about our villa is on the villa website (address mentioned below:))

We found ours on dubizzle .Just search the villa dubailand..... Used fineandcountry.ae a nice bunch of agents that are really helpful. Alot of landlords have put pools in up here.. Also have a drive about I noticed alot of houses with let signs on, u may get lucky andcget direct with the landlord. Hi my dh commutes to ad as well from the Villa, takes extra 5-10 min. Where we live most of the planting is done there's also a playground . But no shops walking distance at the moment. A lovely community lots of people living here as well. And the houses are much better than the ranches. We live in a five bed detached with a pool for 195 k there's also smaller 4 beds from 145 k . Falcon city which is on front of the villa community nearer to the emirates road has nice houses as well, but the gardens are smaller and the houses are closer together than the villa community.

The Villa is a very new community, and so I think they're just getting all the planting done, but the villa's are really lovely and spacious, and it literally 3 minutes away from AR. From what I read on this board the community there is really lovely.

Have u looked into the Villa Community behind Falccon city just pass arabian ranches and global village? Your get more for your money, all new detatched houses...you ll get a 5 to 6 bedroom for under 220k ... I have not heard of the VC. DH will be commuting to AD each day for work, how much would that location add to his drive? Is it just starting out with lots of construction dirt or are there trees and greenery? We really love AR's and have our hearts set on that area. DH did speak a few weeks ago to a couple agents at HH but couldn't get anyone to respond to him or follow up. Finally a woman named Kerrie responded and I told him to stop at the kiosk tomorrow when he goes to Dubai to look at the houses.

Sun devil, In my opinion House Hunters are the best agents for Arabian ranches , very good and honest.. We used them couple of times for new families looking for houses/villa in AR Inside the community market there is a stand/office where you can ask for. Just today in Guld news there is the insert about properties to rent/sell...and there is a full page about them, with all phone numbers of agents for renting/selling/buying. always in my opinion Arabian ranches is a very good place where to stay...
