Thanks, the easytone are def the prettiest of a bad bunch so will give them a go. I know its terrible but cant get over looking at the MBTs and skechers and thinking that they look like old fashioned ortho shoes..... shame on me!!

Easytones are very comfy but will make your legs ache the first couple of times which I also took as a sign that they are working but I don't think I use them enough to make a real difference.

I used MBT, don't think they work the muscles harder, but they are extremley comfy to walk in and good for your feet.

Has anyone bought any of these shoes and found that they work? I walk a few kilometres most days so these shoes are supposed to work your muscles harder right? Im not looking for miracles just whether anyone thinks they are worth their moneyand give you a little extra toning? I have now got over the fact that they arent the most glamorous but still not too sure :( TIA I used to wear MBTs walking to/from work in the UK (6 miles a day). When it was really cold in the winter I used to swap them for my knee high boots and then when I went back to the MBTs it took my legs a while and a lot of aching to get used to them again. I took it to mean that the pains and aching was a sign that they were working- no pain, no gain and all that. So I think they do work but, as you say, they are not exactly glamour wear ;)
