Kimie/Anna You should of thought about the problem of the kittens getting into bad hands/ on the streets....... and get your mother cat spayed before she got pregnant. What part of ILLEGAL do you not understand? You say you own a University in Dubai ( on the pet forum) so you will be aware of legalitys here?

Ladies, What is the difference between paying 500dhs for adoption and for 6500dhs for the pet show?? I included in my letter to Freckles why I am taking the fee!!! Not because my kittens are vaccinated, microchiped, registered in municipality and dewormed!! [b'>Just that I want to make sure that they wont end up on the streets or wont be used for breeding and people will take good care of them just like I do of my cat!! [/b'> As I said that it is my cats first litter and I am not planning on having anymore. You just cant imagine how hard it is so raise them up and know they will be on the street or in the bad hands. And of course it drives me crazy when someone starting to point out that I am selling the kittens without knowing me. It is just because you never tried to raise and find them good homes and to me they are like my own babies!! If that is the case then Kimie, potential adopters can donate in your name to FF...that way youre not selling the kittens.

I have posted a response to the lady on the pet forum..... I do think it would be an idea just to send Feline Freinds and emails between you and this lady, as if she is selling animals then it's all evidence for the Municipality for implementing tighter laws here. The more people they know are actually doing this disgusting illegal trade, the more they will do about it.

so what's the difference between an adoption fee and buying a kitten? well, if you adopt from say FF or the likes you pay an adoption fee. this goes to them, not the fosterer or carer of the animal. It won't recover the costs of vets, vaccs, neutering micro-chipping etc that goes on before the animal is adopted, but it does at least 2 things. 1: ensures that FF can keep doing their good thing and 2: gives an indication of how serious a potential adopter would be about taking on a forever animal. However, if you were just a person doing this, you're selling the animals. That's what i thought, i got my cat from FF - she was a year old, had been fixed and looked after for a week - i quite happily gave them AED 500 to help cover the costs that they had expended on her.

Look Kimie or Anna. Rather than coming on here with such an attitude, you might try explaining what you meant, if you did not mean to sell your kitten. Apparently there is a language problem so being calm and explaining another way would be of great help to all rather than flying off the handle.

dodgey as, and if frecks says that your email to her sounded like you were selling them when in effect you were not, then perhaps you had better change your wording in subsequent emails,kimie. Also you will notice the forgive me if I am wrong bit in freckles post? Thats the bit that means you come on and say yes you are wrong, not go into fullon attack mode as a defense when it is clearly unwarrented and only serves to make you look as guilty as all get out. Um, and can I just say pot kettle dirty bottom in regards to the last bit of your poat? You say that freckles has posted against you without knowledge, and then yet here you are spuriously defaming the character of a woman you don't know. Nice one.

I am the owner of the university in dubai and have vet clinics in Europe but still have nothing to do except for selling kittens on EW!!!!! and gossiping about others!!!
