We are looking for a native English speaking qualified Nanny to care for our 2 children to provide a safe, healthy, happy and stimulating environment. The person must be Western educated and have a minimum of 3 years experience in childcare and be able to drive. If anyone knows anyone or can point me in the direction of finding someone please post a reply. Thanks...

There are some UK educated nannies who read EW, but I know it is a very complicated procedure to sponsor a European as a nanny here though, my friend struggled for ages to achieve this. Maybe one of the girls can help you out with some insider info. On the whole the UAE authorities seem to believe that domestic staff come from Asia or Africa, and not Europe!!

I have no idea about visa sponsorship etc for a nanny in Dubai, but perhaps your best bet would be to advertise in your home country and bring someone over? edited by Green-ish on 21/01/2011
