does anybody know whats going on there? They have built some strange structures in the lake now. I wish they are walkpaths across the lake, that would be brilliant! Any clue?!

I'm sure it will be filled right as we leave the country in a few months! ha! Have to admit I've enjoyed the greenery and landscaping going up around our building and even have proper sidewalks and such on the street level... no more pushing my stroller along the 'loop of death' to get to the metro!

They are busy laying the pipes for the water to be recycled from the ocean. Strange enough they did not think about it at concept stage, filled the water and realised that the stagnant water would be a problem! Let's hope it will move from Jumeirah Sand Towers to Lakes Towers soon.

Is this the lake near Al seef towers ..The lake that I can see from my bedroom window is empty I was surprised as I was away for only 2 weeks for xmas and come back to see no water. 2 weeks ago it was full ..Very strange indeed!

I am wondering.....all the water from the lake was pumped out and what are they doing now ... they are shoveling a interesting pattern...why??? Sometimes it is really funny to see how they work or plan things here in Dubai... I am just here for the last 3 months. Very interesting time. Some things are very modern, some third world...
