Why do some posters always have to add 'no?' to the end of their silly remarks? It just makes you feel like throwing yourself off your balcony. No?

So many people speak English nowadays as a second language that grammatical errors start to sound correct and eventually they will just become part of the lingo.

A little bit different but why do some people say "I live on Arabian Ranches" I dont understand that one, dont they live "in" Arabian Ranches? Is it an English expression? Sorry for the change of subject!

They are from the subcon. It is the way they speak, no? Yes. Or they might be French mother-tongue. Non? lol, I do that all the time (when I speak not when I write) and drives DH crazy! I know it's wrong as well but can't help it!

is it the new word in place of 'do/are you not'? you drink coffee, (do you not)no? you did say so yesterday, (did you not)no? you are rather annoying, (are you not)no? ;)

My BIL (French) does this. It is his shorthand way of saying 'What do you think?' or 'Do you agree?'
