I am looking to enrol DS (who us 2) into nursery. However I work from home and my hours are quite flexible. I'm looking to take him only for 2 or 3 times a week for a few hours. However looking for somewhere that is flexible with their timings.

I'm also hoping for somewhere bilingual as we speak mainly Arabic with my son with a bit of English.

Does such a place exist?? Lol!

TIA

Thank you for all the replies ladies. I spoke to Hummingbird daycare in DIFC today and they offer flexible timings at an hourly rate (min 4 hours and 3 times a week). Going to pay them a visit tomorrow. Stitch - I'll check out Willow too as they are even closer. Thank you so much.

I think from the point of view of the nursery it's quite hard to have a flexible, variable schedule and most will ask you to choose a certain number of days per week and hours per day and you'll have to pay in advance for the term. Otherwise they could end up having staff there but not many students and it would not be feasible. Also they do try to follow a "curriculum" and children learn letters, numbers etc. Sounds like you need a babysitter rather than a nursery.

I recently put my little one into Willow Nursery in Um Suquiem. They have a flexible day till 6pm. Got their own chef so little one has lunch! I know the older ones do Arabic. I am so happy, its very friendly and the staff are all lovely. here is a number 0504725890 give them a call.

So how does it work than? Per hour? What would be the rate for such a drop off/pick up at a nursery?

Try The Childrens Garden In Green Community which isnt far from you. It's a bilingual nursery offering French or German with English & some arabic.

Just reread your post most of the nurseries I know speak mainly English. If you get Timeout Mag for Kids towards the back there is list of nurseries. I would say that Jebel Ali Nursery which there are a few of them have different drop off and pick up times. There is one is JBR.

I'm in the Gardens area but quite flexible with taking him to any location as long as I can drop him off at a later time in the morning.

There is a day care centre on The Palm Jumeriah called Children Oasis. Where are you located? There are lots of nurseries around.
